The Assistance Department: provides first and emergency aid, practical and emotional support, consultations, and accompaniment through the entire process. These accommodations are all suited for the needs of each person. Maslan has over 300 active volunteers who have been thoroughly trained in the field of sexual and domestic violence. In their dedicated work they support, accompany and assist the victims and provide a safe environment for them.
Maslan provides its services free of charge to victims of sexual and domestic violence of all ages, regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, gender, or sexual orientation, while employing full discretion.
Activities: an emergency 24/7 support line staffed by volunteers offering support in 8 languages, an on-line support chat, assistance in medical procedures, legal consultation for criminal and civil proceedings. Maslan operates an outpatient treatment unit and provides treatment and support groups for the victims, their partners, and their families.
